Take part in the National Student Survey 2021

18 January 2021

What do you think of your study programme and Avans University of Applied Sciences? Starting in the week of 18 January, the Dutch National Student Survey (NSS) will give you the chance to have your say. The survey is conducted every year among all students in higher education by Studiekeuze123. Look out for your invitation to participate in your email inbox.

In November, we asked you how you were doing and what you needed from us to continue studying effectively during this unusual period. The NSS will focus more closely on what you think is going well and what could be better. At Avans, we use your input to improve our programmes on a continuous basis. So it’s important that you take part in the 2021 NSS, especially this year!

Improving quality

Avans takes the results of the survey seriously. Based on previous findings from the NSS, Avans has made improvements to timetabling and work placement counselling, and increased the number of workstations in our teaching buildings. Some of the improvements we’ve made are very specific while others are more general.

It’s important that you take part in the survey every academic year. This allows us to continue monitoring quality and find out whether our improvements have been effective. This benefits both you and future students.

As an extra incentive to participate, Studiekeuze123 is giving you the chance to win prizes such as noise cancelling headphones and a MacBook Air. Not bad for a questionnaire you can easily fill in while waiting for your bus or train!
